In April, Richard and I traveled to Hong Kong to visit our son, Creighton, who lives and works there. We had a fantastic time exploring the city, trying a wide variety of amazing foods, catching up with some friends, and taking excursions to Tai O and Macau.

Most of all, we cherish this time with family. Creighton, his girlfriend Charling and his dog Kuro were incredibly gracious hosts. I learned several things about hosting from them. I look forward to our next visit together.
While I was away, my review of Greek fish in a packagewas published in New Classic Recipes. You can check this site for great recipes from Bernadette Laganella and other contributors to confidential cookbook.

Before retirement, I lived and worked in Beijing China for fourteen years (high school principal/Deputy Principal of Beijing Western Academy). Leaving international life behind, my husband and I retired to Vancouver Island in June 2015. To document both this transition and our new adventures, ‘Retirement Reflections’ was born. I hope you enjoy reading these reflections and that you are willing to share your own.
