Henry Lombardi, NFP’s executive vice president of property and casualty, said he was excited to see Kim assume leadership of a major segment of the company’s P&C business.
“Our approach as we build a leading specialty business that is centered around our people and teams, and Lauren exemplifies this through her deep understanding of the financial institutions space,” he said. “In addition, her understanding of complex and evolving risks drives her ability to create the insurance and legal solutions clients need.”
Kim joined NFP in July 2020 as Senior Vice President, Legal and Technical Lead, FIG. He also served as the Financial Institution Claims Practice Leader at QBE North America, and prior to that practiced law at Wilson Elser. She has a BA in Political Science and Communications from Wheaton College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame School of Law.
Aside from Kim’s appointment, NFP also announced that Marc Tauber, Senior Vice President, will lead FIG’s brokerage and advisory team. In addition, Patrick O’Neill, SVP, will lead large accounts, while Justin Corey, SVP, will lead business development.
“I am delighted to lead our Financial Institutions Group and use my experience and vision to elevate the value we deliver to clients,” said Kim. “We have an exceptional team, underscored by our incredible brokerage unit with Marc, Pat and Justin. Together we will expand access to FIG information and solutions and help financial institutions navigate an increasingly challenging environment.”
Last week, NFP also announced the appointment of John Ferreira as Senior Vice President and Professional Responsibility Practice Leader within the Management, Cyber and Professional Responsibility practice.
