MacCrory has over four decades of insurance experience within the energy sector. He joins the company from Marsh, where he most recently served as managing director and placement lead for Marsh Houston’s excess team, working on the company’s largest downstream and intermediate energy accounts. Prior to Marsh, he served as a team leader for the additional/excess coverage and surplus and excess lines business at John L. Wortham & Son. MacCrory holds a Chartered Professional Claims Underwriter designation from The Institutes.

MacCrory is the latest NFP appointment. Earlier this week, the company announced the appointment of Lauren Kim as CEO of its financial institutions group. Last week, he named John Ferreira a professional responsibility practice leader within his management, cyber and professional responsibility practice.
