Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, one of the fastest growing private insurance brokerages in the US, has announced the launch of its National Complex Workers’ Compensation Practice Group.
The workers’ compensation group is the first in a series of specialty practice groups to be launched throughout the year, Liberty said.
The group will be led by Kirk Aguilera, Liberty’s managing partner. Aguilera has 30 years of industry experience and knowledge in all aspects of the workers’ compensation space, Liberty said.

Aguilera and her team have developed a custom implementation work product that is tailored to each client’s unique requirements, Liberty said. For example, her process resulted in a claim settlement fee of 785 in the year it was incurred. The product also reduced the pure customer churn rate by up to 35% in the first year, and the severity rate was down to half the cost of previous years despite the increased frequency of complaints.
The workers’ compensation team also has extensive experience serving mid-market clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, security, healthcare, and restaurant and hospitality.
