EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants has announced that it has promoted Kelly Geary to Division Leader of Lemme, a professional services division within EPIC.

Geary succeeds John Wynne, who will shift his focus to the continued development of the Lemme group’s professional services offerings.

Lemme’s team will join EPIC’s financial services division, led by Philip V. Moyles Jr., the company said.

Geary has 30 years of experience in the industry. He joined EPIC in 2014. In his new role, he will focus on business strategy and execution, thought leadership, and claims defense. Geary also serves as the National Practice Leader for the Professional, Executive and Cyber Solutions Group, part of EPIC’s newly formed Insurance Capital Solutions (ICS) Group.

“The cross-functional expertise of the Lemme and ICS teams is a key pillar of EPIC’s broader vision to be a leader in providing specialized risk management solutions to clients in complex and diverse industries,” said Geary. “This realignment allows for greater collaboration and better solutions for our clients.”

“I am delighted to welcome this experienced and accomplished Lemme team to the Financial Services division,” said Moyles. “Kelly has established herself as a distinguished leader both within Lemme and within the insurance industry, and I am confident in her team’s ability to build on her success and champion the next chapter for Lemme. The division has experienced impressive revenue growth with John’s many contributions and leadership. We are excited that he is now applying his leadership style and strategic acumen to further grow the business.”

EPIC Director of National Specialty Operations and Risk Management John Gaffney will lead Lemme’s operations.

“These changes show our careful succession planning and depth of leadership within the Lemme division,” said Steve Denton, EPIC CEO. “In addition, they provide the best structure for our continued growth and the delivery of our end-to-end capabilities to our customers.”
