The Boston office, in collaboration with Clyde & Co’s existing offices in New York and New Jersey, will enable the firm to support businesses and insurance carriers throughout the Northeast.

The member partners are:

  • Kevin O’Connor, insurance and surety attorney, formerly president of Hermes Netburn. O’Connor advises the main national and international insurers, reinsurers and insurance claims administrators on complex coverage and guarantee law.
  • holly halftone, a trial attorney specializing in complex products liability, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, toxic torts, asbestos, general liability, and business law matters. Polglase advises important national and multinational companies. She represents product manufacturers, sellers and other businesses after catastrophic losses.
  • joh happy, an insurance and trial attorney who represents manufacturers, distributors, businesses, property owners, and their insurers in a variety of toxic exposure cases, including asbestos, talc, mold, and chemical exposures. Felice also represents insurers, insurance claims administrators, and other interested parties in complex insurance coverage matters and matters of bad faith and unfair claims practices.

Other members of the Hermes Netburn team joining Clyde & Co include founder Peter Hermes, Peter Netburn, Tony Sbarra and Michael Batson.

Clyde & Co has been in business in the US for 17 years. Boston is its 15th office in the country. The firm last expanded into the US in 2021, opening offices in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Denver. Last year, the firm announced the launch of a global cyber risk offering.
